Get More Traffic to My Web Site!

Do you ever wonder how you are going to ‘get more traffic to my web site’? I sure know I did when I first got started in internet marketing.

When I first got started in internet marketing, I tried just about every form of advertising there is online, in an effort to get more traffic to my web site. I tried buying traffic like guaranteed traffic, surf traffic, start page traffic, popup traffic, popunder traffic, safelist traffic, classified advertising, PPC traffic – just about everything out there.

One of the things that I discovered, quite by accident, was article marketing for direct traffic to my web site. I was using article marketing to create backlinks to my web site (and it actually worked quite well, sending my web pages for several keywords to #1 spots in the major search engines), and found that I was getting clicks directly from the article directories to my web site.

Talk about getting more traffic to my web site! I immediately began writing multiple short articles, testing the different article directories to see which ones would get me the most traffic, and almost overnight, I had more, much more traffic to my web site.

I currently receive around 100 visitors per day just from the articles I write, and that number is growing. Now, that might not seem like a lot of traffic, but it is all quality traffic. That is not paid traffic that doesn’t really care to be at my web site anyway. These visitors have clicked into my web site because they like something I wrote – it is like they already know me.
