There are a lot of companies out there that are charging big bucks to do your search engine optimization, link management services, and backlink generation for you.

So the questions are, does it really work, and if so, is it worth paying someone else to do it?

The first question, does search engine optimization, link management services, and backlink generation work? 

My definitive answer to you:  Yes!  Emphatically, yes!  I have seen web pages go from nonexistent to top ten in literally weeks and to top 1 or 2 in months.  Yes, backlinks work, yes, search engine optimization works, and yes, backlink generation and management works.

So the second question, is it worth paying someone else to do it for you?

Now, on this, I am not so sure.  I guess it really depends on how much time you have and what your time is worth.

For example, when you first get started online, you have a lot more time than when you are operating a thriving web business, and your time is worth a lot less when you are making $500 per month online than when you are making $50,000 per month online.  So you can do a lot more for yourself when you are making $500 per month than if you were making $50,000 per month.
